Elizabeth A. Conklyn, Esquire has been practicing law in Frederick County for more than 25 years. She is the founder and managing partner of Conklyn & Kemp. Before receiving her law degree from the University of Baltimore, Ms. Conklyn studied social work at the University of Maryland where she obtained a master’s degree in that field. She served as the clinical director of a mental health center for several years. After obtaining her law degree, Ms. Conklyn served as a judicial law clerk to the Chief Judge of the Maryland Court of Appeals (The Honorable Robert C. Murphy).
Following her judicial clerkship, Ms. Conklyn accepted a position at one of the largest law firms in Seattle, Washington. After working at a large law firm for many years, she returned to the east coast and began utilizing her skills as both a therapist and a lawyer to assist people with family law problems.
